Dear valued customers.
With regret and tremendous sadness, Artamatik will
be closing down for good. This has not been an easy decision for us to
make. We are fully aware that many of you have put in a huge amount of
time and effort into your stores and products and we have been trying to
get Artsnow to transfer your stores and products over to them or another
host under them, and although we know this has been done with others in
the past, they will not allow this for customers hosted under us and we
are very; very sad to say that all members of Artamatik will have to
start all over with ArtsNow or another of their child businesses.
Why?
Artsnow have complete control over products, quality and shipping, it
was promised upon our signing with Artsnow that products and service
would be "first class". We grew quickly and have more members hosted
under the Artamatik.com domain than any of Artsnows other child
partners.
Sales for print on demand services were strong and
sign ups to stores and partnership (VIP and Resellers) accounts grew
rapidly. Months later all of development stopped and we later discovered
ArtNow had a new company ArtsCow in beta testing. We questioned them
over this and were told it would be for photo prints only and was not a
threat. Now you only need visit Artscow.com to see how we are now in
competition with the very same people we pay license fees to, the same
people who have control over product pricing and are retailing at prices
that are lower than our own wholesale prices.
They took away our ability to create certain coupon
deals and the ability to send Email news letters to members advising of
new products and specials. Orders by our customers (and very likely our
to VIP members customers) with promotional advertising for Artscow in
there packages; in a blatant attempt to poach our customer base. Upon
questioning ArtsNow about this sneaky advertising practise, they simply
took away the product.
This is just a small insight to unethical business
practices we have been battling with along with many; many other issues
that Artsnow won't address.
We would like to say a special thank you to those
who stuck with us and we wish you greatest success |
